My opinion about Maruti Suzuki has totally changed. I had a breakdown for Swift car on 08th of this month while traveling with family. Had tol eave the car with Service people overnight and had to pay heavily even though I had an extended warranty up to 2015.
Sent a mail to Maruti on 09thwith my grievance and till now no reply, action or acknowledgement. I do not know what to do now or how long I have to wait for a response from Maruti.
Earlier when I had a service problem, the response was so quick and problem sorted out in two days time.
I will wait for few more days for a reply from Maruti to proceed further.

Maruthi has got worst service.i am resident in kerala .I have got a ertiga with K V R delearship.many complaints arrised from them .. the service they are giving is worst one.

  14. Ashraf.K

I would like to say that maruthi have got the most worst service centers till date. I am a resident of Kerala and I have got a maruthi aulto 800 car via Indus motors. One months ago I have given my maruthi for the second service at 07-08-2013. Indus motors dealt with this service and they returned the car at the same day without any of the mats. That day itself i have noticed the missing of mats and reported it to the indus motors executive in our area. He said that he will check on it and call us later. But that doesn’t happen. We have called him again and he repeated the same. Then he asked as to contact the maruthi service center at makkotom, kannur kerala. But they said that its the mistake of executive of Indus motors. In short they were blaming each others and tried to rid from the responsibility. What should I do now or whom should I contact to get the mat back? I am sorry to say that I would never prefer any of my friends or relatives to buy a maruthi car if u go on with such an attitude towards customers like this.

    Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your kind notice that I had purchased Maruti Swift Dzire VDI on 28th June 2012 which has been highly problematic since very begining. The car is taken on my name (Damanjeet Kaur) ,Chasis no : MA3FJEB1S00149252 , REG NO : HR 26BT 1142. WIthin 5 days of purchase , I realised that the gear shifting was too noisy for which i consulted Tanya Automobiles Workshop at Meerut. The concerned people told me that the air has got stuck due to which the problem persists. They released the air but nothing got resolved. I also contacted your another dealer , Raj Sneh , Mrt , but he didnt give any heed to it.For last 8 months , I have been chasing ur people but the problem remains intact. I was asked to get the car serviced in the right hands. The team admitted that the voice while changing the gears was extra – ordinarily loud and they would return my car after fixing the issue. Its been with them for last one week, but they are unable to get to the solution. I fail to understand , how can such a BIG BRAND can’t work with zero defects. This is highly ridiculous as i have spent decent money in purchasing the same. I can’t afford all these issues as i want my things in shape. I have complaint many a times. I have raised my complaint thru the Maruti Online Site but I think no one cares to even open the compalint box and get back to the customer.I have also registered my complaint on ur toll free no , but it seems that there is no customer care dept in ur organisation. My car is there in ur workshop from last 7 days , due to which its uneasy to commute. Hope u guys are mature enugh to be more customer senstive and hope u dun spoil ur brand image. Moreover , ur guys are now insisting me to take this car to Naraiana company owned service center , but i regret that i cant do that as i cant leave my work and chase ur guys. I am myself working in a telecom giant and we don’t leave our customer unattended.

Have once got the complaint ID (483095280) , else all my on-line complaints have gone for a waste. Hope my complaints get your ears and a quick solution to it.

  20. Gaurav Verma

Hi thereThis is Gaurav Verma. I am from Ludhiana. Punjab. I live in europe and bought maruti suzuki alto 1 and half year ago. To be very frank, i am feeeling that it was a humble mistake when i bought maruti suzuki’s car. I have number of complaints regarding service of Maruti Suzuki Stan Autos (Service centre), Humbra road, Ludhiana, Punjab.1) Since I bought that car, rear doors of car doesnt work properly.2) Recently, I went for servicing of my car (Alto) on 31/01/2013. One of Stan Auto’s executive was about to go for test ride. Suddenly, a client came in his car and smashed into my car. No one took risponsibility and Stan auto’s manager asked me to pay if i want to fix my car. I just want to ask thay what was my mistake? I refused to pay then he asked me to ask that person for money. That is how you guys deals with your clients??3) I was told that car will be ready in evening. I rang them and went in the evening. I was told that it will take 30-45min. I waited for 45mins and went to supervisor and he told me to wait for more 1hr. That was one more surprise for me.4) when Left the car in service centre, There was fuel in car, atleast of 400-500rs. But in the evening, warning light was blinking. Means car was almost out of fuel. Car is still in service centre.I am driving suzuki’s car in europe and their service is awesome. But the experience with maruti suzuki in India is shameful. Specially with Stan (service centre)I dont know, why you guys are doing this to customers?

  21. sitar Malik

I have purchased my Swift Dezire car on 11th November 2011 and after completion on one year car has started troubles ,I am not sure if i plan my tour to some where whether i will reach there or not with this car because on the way any where there can be following problems : Gear can lock any time any where/clutch can fail any where/car may go overspeed and lot many that i dont know, means trust is not there. With Maruti i never expect these issue but now I think Maruti is not having that much quality controls and customer focus

  22. Mahesh Kumar Sharma

    Dear Sir,
I have got my Maruiti swift 3rd service done from Modern Automobiles Chanddigarh on 1st Nov 2012. For Mobil MSOW40 ihave been charged Rs 1088 per liter plus VAT. THis prices are unfair as For any synthetic oil of this grade ,maximum retail price in india is not more Rs 750/ per liter. Please make required in correction in rates as Maruti Brand have their own standard which is highly paised in india for economy. Thanking U

    Dear Sir,
I had purchased WagonR-LX in Dec-2010 from Vadodara. Soon after finishing 10 months, I had observed that the windshield cowl (black coloured plastic moulding which is placed below the wind-shield & guarding the wiper mechanism) is warping and it is getting out of the wind-shield thus it is getting separated from wind shield making way for dust penetration. Below are the parts fitted to this cowl which I feel are UNDER-DESIGNED and UNFIT & NOT-ROAD-WORTHY:

    1) Windshield Cowl bearing part no. 72331M67L00-5PK, GARNISH, COWL TOP CTR (BLACK).
    2) 09409M07308-5PK CLIP (BLACK)

Photos of this kind of warpage in my WagonR are shown in attached PDF file. I am attaching a small presentation on the failure of this “cowl” in PDF file name: “WagonR Windshield Cowl Failures in all cars”.

    My observations:
    1. The cowl is not having stiffeners inside and thus due to its own weight and due to its large span of 1.4 mt, it is getting bent at middle.
    2. The cowl is not having adequate thickness and it is so flexible that it is taking waviness or warping upon its fitment.
    3. Cowl is warping due to transit vibrations.
    4. Cowl is fitted in 3 parts. The middle portion is having largest span of 1.4 mt. Hence, it is sliding downwards centrally thus making into warpages.
    5. The above clip (after its locking) is so loose that it is moving circularly in its gap approx. 1 mm clearance.
    6. Thus, the clip cannot hold the cowl tight.
    7. Thus, the cowl gets loose and during transit, due to cowl’s self weight and improper/sub-standard design, the cowl bends and slips from two side holdings.
    8. This slippage results in warpage and aesthetics will get spoiled.
Request to Maruti Suzuki (India) Ltd.:
    • Please redesign this windshield cowl with more thickness and middle stiffeners inside. Use appropriate clips (100 % tight) for fitment of cowl below windshield.
    • Replace back above cowl in my WagonR new series car with modified cowl immediately FREE OF COST.

As I am having new Alto K-10 vehicle I used to go for authorised service center i.e. Varun motors in Tolichowki Hyderabad, the Varun motors service is not upto the satisfaction of the customer. I have two bitter Experience of my regular service in the Varum Motors Tolichowki and cannot give comments on that. Earlier Varum motors service use to call their customer for free car camp service or customer regular car service. For the last 6 to 10 months back the Varun motors employees are not calling the customers for free car camp or regular car services as the manager of the Varun motors Tolichowki Hyderabad has been changed and a new person called Mr.Basha is been replaced. This so called Mr.Basha is very rude in behavior and does not take any responsibility to satisfy the customer. On Feb-4-2013 I called Varun motors to enquiry about for free car service camp, one of the employee told me that the free car service camp is there and told me to bring my new alto K-10 vehicle to the camp, to my surprise the so called manager Mr.Basha told me that only selected vehicles will be called for free service camp. When I asked him why only selected vehicles will be given free service, he told me this is company rule to give service to selected vehicles only and your vehicle is not been selected and he warned me not to come to his service center until or unless a call is not given by them to me. Then I told him that your employee has told me to bring the vehicle for free camp service. He simply told me that it was a mistake by his employee and if there is any Mega free camp advertisement published in news paper then I should contact him. I ask the concerned authorities why this step motherly behavior is been given to us. If this is the case I am sorry to say that I have done a great mistake by purchasing a vehicle worth nearly 4 lakhs from maruti suzuki instead of going for Hundai or Honda etc.. companies. More over any customer who approach Mr. Basha with simply minor complaint he simply wash his hands and does not take any responsibility or help the customer. This man the so called manager Mr.Basha is spoiling the Image of Maruti Suzuki Motors.
