        Thanks for your concern in my product.
        I have submitted my express service code to this site, you can check my status now. The LED of the adapter does glow when I connect it in the switch. I have also tried it in other Dell laptops but it is not working. And the LED light of my system is working fine as I am charging my laptop with an other adapter of Dell.

    Hi, I have Dell E5410 with win7. The OS had developed some problem so i tried to repair it and format it with the given DVD. But it appears that the DVD is faulty and I am unable to format.       You can restore your computer to factory settings through Dell Data safe recovery option. Please find the steps below for the same.
      As soon as you turn on the system tap F8 key 7-8 times to get the recovery option.
      Step 1 : After getting to system recovery options click on 6th (last) option – ‘dell data safe and emergency back-up’ and wait for few seconds for next screen.
      Step 2 : On next screen, click on 2nd option – ‘select other system and more options’.
      Step 3 : On next screen, click on 2nd option – ‘restore my computer’.
      Step 4 : On next screen highlight the option ‘factory image’ and then click on ‘next’.
      Step 5 : On next screen click on 2nd option – ‘restore without preserving new and used files’.
      Step 6 : Click on – ‘YES’

    Dear Sir,

    I bought my Dell laptop 3 years back. It worked fine for the last 3 year. 2 days back it suddenly got shut down and did not restart. After that I showed it to one laptop service center. After that it worked fine for some time , then it again got shut down.
    After servicing when I was connecting my laptop to internet(through data stick) for more then 30 min it was getting shut down. And now again it got shut down and is not getting on at all.

    The service guy is saying that I am hitting issue because of the battery. He telling that changing the battery will solve the problem. My battery still works fine and gives almost 1 hr of backup.

    Can you please help me on this.

      This seems to be an issue with the hardware. To isolate the issue between hardware & software, run hardware diagnostics. If all tests are passed, it confirms that the issue is not with hardware on the computer.

      - Press the power button to turn on the system

      and wait for the test to complete . If system shuts down while running the test, it means motherboard is faulty and needs replacement.

    I have dell vostro 2520. my service tag is 8000mv1. My laptop fan do lot of noise and it vibrates. As its warranty ends after 2 days. I tried to call customer care many times but unable to contact them. And saturday and sunday they won’t take call.     I wanted to purchase a dell charger and i tried to place order through phone in dell sales toll free number. I called 3 times, two times call was kept on hold and no 1 picked it up for 10 mins and than i disconnected. The 3rd time it got connected and than i told them i want to purchase charger and they transfered to some other person he asked the same things that who i am , from which company and what i want , i told him than he again transfered to other person, he again asked same things. My call got transfered 6 times and at final time there came a message call could not be tranfered plz try again. I invested my one hour just to purchase a charger still i could not do the same. I dont know how can we say that this is best service providing. Highly dissatisfied from services from dell. Never expected this from dell.

Jab sahi nhi karna hai to company wale warranty kyu dete hai ? Daily technician ke manager se baat kara dete hai par kisi technician ko nhi bheja jata .       To get the details of additional card, follow these steps:-
      Go to start menu and type in “dxdiag” and select display

    Payment link.. Today i went through that link and i put all the
    details.. by Finishing all the particulars it turned to compute
    india(Insert the title) website but it came Server timbed out..And
    also i received the message about my transaction From the bank..but i
    did’nt get intimation or notification from dell.. the customer sales
    officer also saying that he didnt get any mail.. My amount is
    Rs.47390..So what is solution for my amount and order??? Bank’s
    customer care also saying that The money is transferred through

      Also check if you are getting any beeps while you are turning on the system as that will help us understand what part of the system is causing issue. Because as you mentioned, after upgrading the Ram you are facing this issues so it could be because of RAM also that your system is not turning on.

      If you are getting 2 beeps that indicates that RAM is not detected and due to which system fails to turn on.

      If system is turning on but you are unable to log on to windows page, please perform a diagnostic in order to ensure the system functionality

        Hi,

        I am also facing this issue.
        My Inspiron Laptop is approx 3 years old and till yesterday it was working fine. In my case, whenever i had try to turn on my laptop some time its display the disturbed screen but mostly it gives the beep sound.

        Today morning, it shows some “Start-up Repair” process and it finished properly.
        In the “Start-up Repair” process its shows few test and things were looking fine based on the test. But after its completion, When i try to turn it again, it give beeps and would not be able to turn on.

      This could be a problem either with the hardware or software. Please find the below steps to diagnose the problem.
      Run on board diagnostics to check the hardware functionality.
      - Press the power button to turn on the system
      - Press F12 couple of times or Fn+power until you see boot menu
      - Select diagnostic

      and wait for the test to complete . In case you get any error message please make a note of it. Otherwise it is a problem with the software. You can do PC restore to bring th system back to factory settings. Please find the steps below to do PC restore.

      As soon as you turn on the system tap F8 key 7-8 times to get the recovery option.

      Step 1 : After getting to system recovery options click on 6th (last) option – ‘dell data safe and emergency back-up’ and wait for few seconds for next screen.
      Step 2 : On next screen, click on 2nd option – ‘select other system and more options’.
      Step 3 : On next screen, click on 2nd option – ‘restore my computer’.
      Step 4 : On next screen highlight the option ‘factory image’ and then click on ‘next’.
      Step 5 : On next screen click on 2nd option – ‘restore without preserving new and used files’.
      Step 6 : Click on – ‘YES’

      PC Restore will get started after this.
      Note# Make sure you take data backup before doing PC restore.
