    Your Excellancy,

Sub: Technology Upgradation in Chemical Industries

At the time of our country independence, as there are no bulk drug companies in india. Therefore, we have to import medicines from the developed countries. After formation of independence, bulk drug companies established in all over india with investment of 10 crores.

At Present Hyderabad which accounts for around one third of indias total bulk drug production – is considered as the bulk drug capital of the country.

At Present pharma city also emerged at Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, total land 2200 acres with an investment of about Rs5120 crores. At present and future , there is lot of demand for exports, generating employment in Andhra Pradesh.

for eg: Bananas exporting from Andhra Pradesh at the cost of Rs20 per dozen to Pakistan. In pakistan the public buying bananas at the cost of Rs.300 per dozen.

In future, the demand of bulk drug finished products will have to be raised at the peak level.

At Present china is competitive to the indian market due to thier quality & reasonable rates, the most of the industries in india closing down and becoming sick.

Therefore, we have to more confident in producing peak level production and top quality. If the quality of the product and service is good, then only companies in india will be survive. Therefore, 10 – 12 % of investment in the R&D by the bulk drug companies.

Indian bulk drug industry as a share about 9 % of the global bulk drug market
Indian drugs are ex[porting to around 200 countries in the world.

The human resource requirement is around an estimated 21.5 lacs by 2020 year.

Corrective and Pre4ventive actions to be taken
1.Make policies that china should not dominate indias bulk drug companies.
2.The production of bulk drug should not be minimized .
    3. Tax exemptions should be made
4.GDP growth automaticall raise if the chemical industries are developed
5.Employment oppurtunities will also be raised
6.Incentive should be given to those industries which have technology upgradation.
7.Import advanced technology equipments from developed countries with tax exemptions.
This is for your information to forward the message to Ministry of industries .
