My name is Singireddy Purushotham Reddy. I am former. My Idea cellular mobile number is 9848445063 Previously my number is prepaid service. 4 months back I received sms regarding documents submission. So I submitted my KYC documents in Mallikarjuna Communications, Idea Store, Bhongir, Nalgonda Dist. Mr Chandra Shekar taken my documents and he forced to change my prepaid sim to postpaid. So my sim is converted postpaid. Ofter two months I realized unable to maintain this postpaid service. Why means huge bill generated compared with my previous prepaid service . so again 2 months back I went to bhongir idea store requesting post paid to prepaid service. I paid total outstanding amount and again submitted documents. Mr Chandra Shekar given new sim and he said “within 4 working days your new sim is prepaid activation in this period don’t make out going calls”. So I agree. I am waiting for 10 days but still not prepaid sim is not activated and again I went to idea store asked chandrashekar. he said still more time. So till date total 15 times I visit bhongir idea store and 20 times called to Chandra shekar. Mr Chandra shekar wantedly not activated my sim I don’t know why. Mr chandra shekar so many times discussion and arguments did with me. He irritated with me and he uses very abuse language and unparliamentary words. He behavior like not normal person. But he still not activate my prepaid sim. some days he barred my outgoing calls. i missed so many important calls. I vested my so many days for vising idea store. I am very disappointing idea service. So final my request is please investigate this entire matter and activate prepaid sim.

I have purchased two idea postpaid connection and handover check of rs 800 to executive who collect documents. They told me service will be activated after 5-6 days. After a week I call that person and every time he gave me hope about activation done in next few days. I thought I should stop payment so I open my net banking I shocked, they deposit my check next day when I gave it. Now this is 3rd month but there is no activation and no refun of my many.I tried to to reach that agency RIDDHI SIDDHI in Dadar but till the date it is not possible. I have visited Idea Bhandarkar Road Pune office to disconnect my Netsetter number as Customer Care was resolving the complaints without any resolution since 25th March 2013. The executive manning the counter refused to provide acknowledgement of my written closure request as per Telegraph Act and rules. Her senior in the Customer Care Department asked whether his name is included in such notice and asked the executive to refuse the complaint / communication and not to give any stamp. This is the new face of Idea Customer Care executives and Aditya Birla Group paying salaries to such CCare Executives. This is the classic case of Corporate Governnace claims made by Idea Cellular. Even the departments like Gram Panchayats, Tahsil Office, Collector Office, Police Offices, Courts give proper acknowledgement. Some people even cross the bridge and also provide inward number and on the spot resolution. But this is not the case with Idea now. It was 3 years back. But Idea has to be changed. Idea has changed. And I changed the Idea. Thank you harassing customers. I wish too much and too far for such Ccare executives and the Appellate Authority in Idea knows – about him I am writing.

Im having a prepaid number 9420819833.When I contacted 12345 customer care number today several times, there is no reply. Its gets cut off after number 9 is dialled and no customer care exectuive comes on line.
However I’m unable to get any mobile number outside goa by prefixing “)”. But a recorded message i marathi says that the service has expired and hence no longer available.
I have a balance of around Rs.440/- as on 05.04.2013. I fail to understand how this is possible when I have recharged/topped up the balance amount with Rs.500/- on 01.04.2013.

I am using Idea Netsetter, I recharged my idea netsetter 3g number 8472988143 with Rs. 249 on 1st of April 2013 and got the confirmation message that the 3G data pack have been successfully recharged. Inspite of availability of Idea 3G network around it fails to register for Idea 3G network and registers only with Idea 2G network. What is the use of recharging with 3G plan??

Same problem with me Pranav. I recharged with rs. 249 for 1 gb of 3g data (30 days) on 11.4.13 in Delhi, but it does not register for 3g; it registers for 2g only. i dont know why.

I am compelled to say that i had to terminate my earlier idea net connection (cellular no.7891011152) due regular interruption of “server not found”. I pulled my earlier connection for four months. On the advise of your local reps i opted for unlimited 3g railway plan on my idea dongal but again all efforts went in vein and always i failed to do video chatting due to very poor signals. on the other hand a number of railway staff opted for the same plan only on my advise.
This failure in service is not acceptable at any cost, at this stage i request you to solve my problem on urgent basis.
I except an early action.

This is honestly speaking a thief company; which steals your money without your permission and do it pretty often, imagine about the number of people, they cheat everyday. I think this is their modus operandi to earn money and this is how they make it. What an idea sir ji, I dont leave a single moment to warn people about how they deduct your money without your permission. Friends in my circle and lot other people have stopped using Idea. People should be aware about such companies; who use inertia selling.

I had idea postpaid sim (8494925399) due to loss of mobile the sim was also lost on November which I had complained to customer care before that only I was not able to make calls from this sim several complaints were raise , but before it could be corrected the sim was lost at that time bill was around 600 even when I was not able to make outgoing calls . Now I have received some complaint letter from u people regarding legal action and all . Even though I have paid the bill of 1070.07 online from icici bank but am really hurt by the response from your customer care please do take care u improve your services for your further clients.

i have two idea sims, they send me sms offer for diler tone and cut 45 rs without my knowledge from my balance, i hv also deactivated the unwanted sms & calls long time back ,but still they are not stopped the same. i am going to surrender both the sim & going for another services.

I had requested cancellation of the services in month of JANUARY in an gallery . However on 7 feb I get mail about the usage where I haven’t been using the services for a month
My concern is that I’m not going to pay for that 1month rental as it is not my fault I had place cancellation request but gallery people did not forward it .
And now for no rhyme or reasons you guys are asking me to pay for the rental I’m not used neither I had asked for because I had requested for cancellation .
Today when I called customer service they say first that the connncetion is not active and later said that Ohhh there was technical error its active where in it was supposed to be cancelled .
I would request you to take care of cancellation and waive that rental Aa it is an illegitimate charge .

I have requested a change of plan for my post-paid connection and in doing so IDEA deactivated all my outgoing and incomings calls for the past 48 hrs. I had already called the customer care 4 times and every time they make false promises that it would be activated within 12 hrs on top of that whenever i ask what exactly is the problem they just say it is some technical issue from IDEA no details are available. Heck with IDEA, i won’t be continuing with idea anymore, the services are pathetic. Please don’t go for idea it really is that BAD

I have purchased a new idea sim from authorised dealer in ponda goa ” samarth electronics ” on 16.11.2011 at 2030hrs
I was told that the sim would get activated in a day.
I am still waiting for the day to dawn when my mobile sim 08975791966 would get activated.
By the way the reason of buying an Idea sim was the extraordinary offer of activation in a shortest time, so that i could keep in touch with my daughter who has proceeded on a tour of 8 days starting the 15.11.2012.
I am confident that the sim will not get activated till my daughter returns.

TRAI has regulated that only 200 messages can be sent per day per one sim but my bill operator says to me that my bill has been extended since i did ” a lot many messages “which according to him cannot be counted. i need to know that according to which basis my bill has been extended.

I really feel sorry for myself taking an idea Pospaid connection to use, looking at the add the way abhishek describes the in the add about the network connection……..but it was a worst experience ever had using a cell phone…….
I had a friend of mine who suggested me to take the idea Postpaid connection……….i took 2 connection which were under the plan of Rs 125/- in which intercalling on these #s were completely free(which i never got)………when my bill was generated after 7 days i starting getting call from the customer care executives to pay the bill………..i requested them to please sent me a paper bill so that i can get the complete idea as to what i am charged of………….but till date i have not received any paper bill…………..executive keep on asking for email-id…….(i told them every time to plz give a paper bill i dont access the net much)……….but that wasnt done……….i used the numbers for not more than a month……..later
29Oct 2012 i received a call from delhi……..stated the call is for a file which is been registered against me for not paying the bill………………….(let me tell u who all are reading this)…………idea is the first company which i have come to know that if customers dont pay the bill they need to run to the court………….or they can be behind the bars for the same………..

I know the company needs to take actions against the customers for not paying the bill………….but filling case against the customers turns to be very shocking…………..

what if the customer has applied for any type of loan or making a passport……….doesnt it become defficult for them now……………

The person who spoke to me regarding the case filed was so very rude in his tone………no customer will think of using idea connection any more………….
I will surely pay the bill in the cumming days…………….but never will think of taking idea connection nor suggest any of my friends or my dear one to take the connection.

I am felling very sorrow for your compnany that a reputed company like you can do these things also, I H.K Manchanda the most oldest and loyal customer for your company i.e from past 16 years when your incoming and outgoing was Rs10.50 / min facing so bad services from your side which is not afforedable for me and which are making to drop your company this mail and which are forcing me to switch over to another telecom network.
As i have 3 postpaid numbers i.e 9837607497 , 9837607495 , 9837093756 which now i want to convert into prepaid and as i am a residence of Haridwar i have gone to Vicky Communication , 15 Tehsil Gate , Jwalapur Haridwar where they have told me to subbmit I.D and Photograph which i subbmited in 1st week of march 2012 after that i didnt get any response from your side then i complaint at your -customer care service that are .
